This is a great, basic collaging app. Lots of options, yet also lots of automation, so getting to your masterpiece is helped out. Some extras would be nice, like: ability to save file to come back and tweak later; greater control on where/how to split columns & rows... Sure, its not Photoshop, but for $4.99 its really great. (Best to try the free version first if in doubt.)

This app is very simple to use, has numerous layouts… the only thing i would add is text to the photos… other than that i really like this app.

this is not worth a penny! You can not adjust the photos, move the photos the way you want them. You are stuck with where they are!!! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!! I cant believe this is so lame. You would think you would be able to adjust the photos just a little bit. Some of the collages you can tilt or make it just alittle bigger to take up more of the space or less.

I am a designer by profession who bought CollageIt Pro on sale wanting an alternative to Picasa; I was looking for a program that would do one thing, and thats create photo collages. My only complaint with CollageIt Pro is that the "Mosaic" tiling feature (that I primarly use to create reference image boards for design projects) is low on intelligence compared to Picasa (which is free). The other layout features it offers are fine, but I specifically find the Mosaic tiling feature to be lackluster and not well thought or designed. Collageit Pros randomnly generated mosaic layouts do not take into account the height and width of each individual picture that is requested to be made into a mosaic (a feature that I have only been able to find in Picasa). This is a HUGE disadvantage as it tries to fit the images into a randomnly generated layout rather than taking into account all the images to generate THE BEST Mosaic layout which would give each image a maximum visibility and real estate on the collage. It will allow you to move the images around for the best crop, but much of this could be avoided if the program had a bit more intelligence programmed behind it - cropping shouldnt be necessary. I would give this program 5 stars if they could match Picasas Mosaic Tiling layout system which takes into account the selected images. I would also like to encourage the developers of this program to take a look at how Picasa does their mosaic tiling. All in all, its a nice program thats very easy to use. If they manage to add more intelligence to the collaging software, this would be a solid 5 star product.

Just downloaded the latest update and NOTHING works!

I also just downloaded and paid for Collageit Pro and it will not work. When I go to support on PearlMountain they say the new version is 2.5.1 so whats up?

Works nicely and you can simply make some nice collages. If you could mannually move and resize the images and frames once the initial layout is done, it would be absolutely perfect. For quick and simple it does the job and we can hope for a little more manual control.

This app can not handle its own options without unexpected closure loosing all your progress. This is unacceptable considering its a purchased app. trying to make a simple 3 picture collage utilizing its color options and different types of fonts using the text options it will close on you suddenly.

Ive make a collage for my boyfriend, and he loves it.

I would be nice for be able to modify the pic space as opposed to having to crop the pic. Actually, you cant even crop the pic to make it fit the space you can just move it so you get it into the best spot, depending on the template you want to use. Also, it would be nice to decide where the scattered pics would go as to where the program decides they belong. I use the program because I purchased it. Otherwise, I would look for another one.

I upgraded to the Pro version, hoping that I could assemble and print a decent collage on a 5x7 paper. Printing from this software is a nightmare. Using anything other than their pre-programmed collage templates is hopeless. This is a very basic and difficult software which is not worth the price. Its printing interface is awful. There is no print preview function, and when I tried to print using a customized size of 5x7, I got a 2x3 print on an 8x10 photo paper. Collage software should not be complicated, and it should offer the opportunity to resize, reposition, and modify the photos in the collage. This software only allows you to reposition. Printing should also be easy. My last gasp is to export the collage to iPhoto and hope for the best. There is an opportunity here for someone to make a good collage software. I havent found one yet.

I hate Picasa, so was looking for something that was easy to use and wouldnt bog down my computer in the process. After checking out a few online reviews, I decided to take the plunge and got CollageIt Lite. However, the project I was working on needed more than the 20 photos I was allowed, so I went ahead and upgraded to the Pro version for $9.99. Totally worth it! Its fun, easy, and fast!! Now to figure out how to un-install Picasa. . . . ;)

Nice and easy

App is easy to use. You have all the choices that you need to create a nice collage. Only complaint is that it should be a little more user-friendly, especially creating page sizes.

This is a very frustrating program. The help feature is useless and anytime you change the number of pictures on a collage the pictures are scrambled. It is not flexible enough for what I need.

I liked the trial version of the program and decided to upgrade to this Pro version which I did. I received/downloaded CollageIT Pro, version 2.6.9 and when I first opened the application, the application came up with an update notification. The update was for their version 3 (CollageIt 3 Pro) - they listed 2.6.9 as an older version. The upgrade option went away after several seconds and can’t find it since. Contacted customer support and have not received a response. The main office is located in China. Beware of the version change.
