wasted 10 bucks keeps crashing on os lion

Bought this APP and nothing whatsoever happens when I try to open it. Wont do anything. Shows up at the top that it is there but nothing shows up when you press new or anything. Absolutely useless. Tried to contact Support Company and cant get anywhere - very poor Support System. Have a MacBook Pro. DO NOT BUY THIS APP. THERE IS NO APP THAT SHOWS UP EXCEPT FOR THE ICON - DOESNT DO ANYTHING. NOTE: I SENT A MESSAGE TO THE SUPPORT FOR THIS APP AND TODAY - NOVEMBER 19TH - THEY SENT ME A LINK FOR THE NEWEST VERSION. I DOWNLOADED IT AND I HAVENT DONE MUCH WITH IT YET BUT IT SEEMS TO WORK FINE. I READ THE NOTE ABOVE ABOUT MAC USERS WHO HAVE MAC OS 10.6 AND THATS WHAT I HAVE. PROBLEM IS SOLVED WITH THE NEW DOWNLOAD THAT I RECEIVED.

Easy to use, no bug, no crash. I went full size, TIFF was 432 Mo. The poster should look nice!

You arent going to win any awards for ingenuity on the layouts, but you can throw together a decent looking page for a quick presentation in seconds. You can also custom crop each image once its imported. Pretty wide variety of layouts for a few images to dozens. Simple and easy.

My only complaint is that when pictures are brought into the program they dont show their filenames. I use the program to combine lots of photos from one day to one single 4x6 to save on printing for scrapbooking (Project Life). It would be very beneficial if i could see the file name when im creating my collage.

Pros: - Huge number of photos, which can be loaded and easyly managed - Flexible adjutment of margin, space, borders, shadows for all photos - easy to make global adjustments - Descent number of predefined layouts - In pro version customised size of layout to ones needs Cons: - Lack of adjustment for single photo except to crop and position within frame - No possibility to adjust position of the frame on the layout - Changes order of photos, each time you select new layout, this is kind anoying - no rounding of edges as an option If you need a solution to make collage in fast and efficient way, this software is for you. Im very happy with results. If you want to tweak your collages then test first free edition before making a decision.

Pile collages are not saving properly. There is only one photo in the final JPG instead of a whole pile. Where are the rest?

Easy app to create good quality posters. My kids use it easily too!

great product except when you export your collage, some of the photos get skewed....

I purchased this program and it does everything I wanted except for one big thing... it is not exporting my images. I am using 10.6 OSx and the program gets hung up when I try to save my program. I have written to the company and will change my rating if they either fix it or refund my purchase. Disappointed.

Creates beautiful collages, but print quality is poor. Only 300 dpi. No adjustment possible to allow for superior print quality, even if high-quality pictures are used.

I needed a collage for a website and tried this out despite its low reviews. Worked great.

This app "says" its the pro version… However, when you try to use the pro features it tells you you need to upgrade to pro and then takes you to their website where they are chargine $20 to get a "Pro" code. Dont waste your time.

The reviewer that says this is not the full pro version is confused or somthing because it is the full version. I was hesitant to buy it because of his review, but I took a chance and I am glad I did. I was able to set the output size to 16" x 20" at 300 dpi to print out a poster on my epson stylus pro 4000 and it looks perfect! I was also able to add 27 photos and crop each one, all pro version features so I think he may have downloaded the free version and was using that version when he wrote his review. Just wanted to let everyone else know incase you were hesitant to buy based on that review. This app saved me hours of time vs doign it by had in photoshop.

Very happy with it. Easy to use. Saves me loads of time. In the future Id love to see an option to match, photos with their portrait or landscape frames. Even if its not the same 100% the same ratio, itll still go along way to reataining the orgintals photos essence.

Collageit Pro is decent, but is also a bit maddening. It creates collages, as you would expect out of an app called "collageit" - but it has some serious, major drawbacks in my mind. 1: It does not allow you to save what you are working on. You can export it, but thats it. If you are working on a large collage (which this supports) - the app has to stay open the whole time. Before you can work on another collage, you must finish what you are working on, then export it. If you exit the app, and decide you want a different collage or change what you just did - too bad. You have to start over. Not begin able to save your work is a deal breaker, in my opinion. 2: No iPhoto integration. You can drag your photos over to the app, but it does not show your iPhoto library. 3: You are not able to resize any of the photos. Lets say you have a great beach landscape, and you want to expand it, make it larger, show the whole photo, etc. Cant do it. You can drag it to another photo that is landscape and swap the two - and you can do some limited resizing of the photo in the set size CollageIt provides, but you cannot have any custom collages where you can expand a photo and have the others adjust around it. If you have a certain set of photos you want to create a collage with, this app might be good. It does create some decent collages, but overall, I was disappointed with the app.

I am liking this app. Saves me some time when doing a bunch of mosaics but: 1. You cant save your mosaics as you go 2. The templates that you save go... somewhere. They dont show on your template chooser 3. No iPhoto integration 4. Limited resizing pictures All around its a good (cheap) app but still needs some development!

1. It claims to be able to crop photos, but no matter how I single, double, quadruple click on any photo, the option to crop is dulled out. 2. You should be able to manually drag or rotate photos, but you can only swap them with another photos location. 3. (As already has been said) You should be able to save projects to continue work on them later.

I was hesitant about this app, because of some of the negative comments of previous versions, but after working this app very hard, I was happy to discover that it was rock solid. Everything worked perfectly. Cropping, placement, printing, everything. I especially liked the apps random arrangement option, as well as its ability to allow custom dimensions and dpi output level. Overall, this app is a great new asset in my design work. Thank you developer.
